OK, so I'm a few weeks late, but hey, she's not ten months yet! We went to the doctor and all is well. She tips the scales at 17 1/2 pounds. I've been buying her 6-12 month shorts and pants - and they are all too big around the waist! So big she cannot even wear them because they fall right off. Her 9 month clothes are getting too short. Once again, she totally takes after her father! She loves to walk while you hold her hands. Her one and only word is "hi". She especially loves saying hi to the cat. She also loves to touch the cat's eyes, wiskers and ears, much to the cat's dismay. She also loves to bother the dog, and thinks it's a fun game when we tell her no, the doggy doesn't like his fur pulled. Oh well, it's a running wager to see who will win - Kaia or Berkeley!
Me, Brian and our friend Jacque participated in the Dino Triathlon in Vernal yesterday. It was awesome! We did the sprint distance, so the swim was 800 meters, the bike was 13 miles and the run was 3 miles. I did it in just under two hours. Brian decided to be a hero and do the Olympic bike distance - 26 miles (J/K - he took a wrong turn). But he only finished a little after I did. The swim was insanely cold, but the bike and run were sweet. I'm glad I did it and I just may be up for another one. We'll see!
