Art by Kaia

Our life is constantly changing with Kaia in our lives. We've decided that as we approach the two year old mark, the changes aren't always for the better. For instance, Kaia has discovered the world of pens, markers and crayons.

Pen on our master bedroom wall.

Pen on the leather couch.

Permanent marker on the fabric of our dining room chair.

Crayon on the dining room table.

Ah, my walls look just like that. Let me know if you find anything that gets pen off of paint. Love the pic of Kaia's first hair cut. She is so cute!

Oh that stage is about enough to drive you crazy. I thought I was out of it but last year right after we finished our basement Landon (4) and his friend Abby (almost 6) did a number on our walls with a brown sharpie. We scrubbed the best we could and then had to prime and paint over it.

Try a magic erase on the wall couch and dining chair.

Don't stifle her creativity! A young artist needs room to experiment...at least that's what I tell myself about our children.
