First Haircut

Kaia got to watch Elmo while she got her hair cut. That's why she looks zoned out. It's her usual TV watching face.

She's thrilled, can't you tell??

End result. Fabulous!

Kaia's favorite part about the whole experience - the balloon!

A Child Family Christmas...

Ornaments are for playing with, right?

Christmas dress. Kaia acts so funny when we put a dress on her. She's like, what is all of this material I'm wearing? It's a Sunday only thing, obviously.

Kaia playing Mary in the Christmas Eve Nativity. She thought it was great and even kept her pillow case on her head the whole time!

Our house on Christmas morning. We were afraid we wouldn't be able to get our of our driveway.

Kaia loves Elmo! Or "Ehho" as she says it.

Chocolate waffles!

Angie and Eric, in from San Francisco. Don't we look thrilled???

New bike for Christmas from Grandpa Child! Her other favorite toys: her sunglasses and Brian's triathlon medal.

Bowling! Kaia was scared to death of the bowling alley for the first half of our round. But once we gave her a turn, she was really into it and loved the clapping part when someone got a strike!

Wow, the holidays are exhausting!

New Family Pics

Oh, family photos. I was actually dreading getting photos done of Kaia, because I just knew she would not smile for any of them. She'll smile for me when I'm taking her photo. But just barely long enough for me to get one halfway decent shot. But I guess that's the life of a toddler. Way too busy to sit still for anything!

Halloween

" Hmmm....what's this?"

"I bet it's something good!"

"I bet it's something REALLY good!"

"YUM!!!"

Pumpkin Patch

Kaia picked out her own pumpkin when we went to a pumkin patch a few weeks ago. She thought it was so fun that it as just her size and she could haul it around. It was so funny to watch her try to walk around the pumpkin patch. She kept tripping over all of the little ditches (sorry, I don't have a clue what those are called) until she finally figured out how to watch her step!

My First Computer

Kaia now has her very own laptop. She loves banging on the keyboard, but gets scared when it starts beeping because "a fatal error has occured."
