Traitor!

I recently took a position at Parr Waddoups, a competitor of Jones Waldo, the law firm I was with for seven years. I just needed a change. Obviously it wasn't a huge change - I'm still doing marketing for a law firm. But, it was change enough. I have been at PW for two weeks and I really like it so far. I work for the director of marketing, Nancy, who is fabulous. My hours are part time - only 25 a week. More time with Kaia!!! My commute is exactly the same (PW is one block east of JW) - but I only work four days a week, T-F, for six hours, so it works out great.

Yuck!!

Here's Kaia eating food about a month ago (yes - I'm way behind). She hated fruits and vegetables!!! She loves cereal, but we tried to move on the real stuff, and it just didn't happen. I'm happy to report we tried a month later, at seven months, and she loves them! Sweet potatoes, peas, you name it. Yeah!!!

Sold!

Our house is sold! We accepted the offer on Monday. They want us out by March 18! So, according to my calendar, we have less than two weeks to be packed and moved out! We're moving in with my parents while we build our house. It might be somewhat of an adjustment, and my 21-year-old sister might be a bit put off about us invading her pad, but you just can't beat the cost savings, can you?

FOR SALE

Our house is for sale! Yeah, I know, great timing, with the market in Utah falling. But, if the stars align, and we can sell our house and build a new one just in time for interest rates to bottom out, we're golden. We'll keep our fingers crossed!!!
